Switchboard (Sub Board Relocation & Installation) — Randwick
Ampower Electrical recently completed a detailed switchboard upgrade and sub-board relocation for our customer Stuart in the suburb of Randwick. This project involved multiple stages of removal, relocation, installation, safety upgrades, and additional electrical improvements throughout the home.
Our qualified electrician, Nikola, ensured every part of the job was completed safely, neatly, and to the highest Australian standards.
What We Completed for Stuart
Switchboard & Sub Board Work
- Removal of the existing sub board
- Relocation of 4 existing sub circuits to the new sub board position
- Supply and installation of 16mm orange circular sub mains from the main switchboard
- Installation of a brand-new sub board in the bedroom
- Installation of 6 RCBO safety switches for enhanced protection
- Full testing and commissioning
Safety Upgrades
- Supply and install a 240V hardwired smoke alarm, fully compliant with AS 3786
Lighting & Power Improvements
- Supply and install LED downlights with wiring
- Installation of a wall fan, including wiring
- Wiring and connection to customer-supplied LED strip shaving cabinet
- Installation of multiple double powerpoints with wiring
Bathroom Upgrades
- Powerpoint installation for a heated towel rail, including wall chasing
- Installation of the heated towel rail
Ceiling Fan Work
- Wiring and installation of a customer-supplied ceiling fan
