Ampower Electrical recently completed a specialised smart home installation for Shane in Bellevue Hill NSW 2023, delivering a clean, reliable setup using customer-supplied smart security devices.

The job involved the installation and setup of a Google Nest door intercom system, configured to operate wirelessly from the intercom’s internal battery. Our electrician ensured the device was optimally positioned and fully set up, with performance tested based on the available Wi-Fi strength to ensure consistent connectivity and responsiveness.

In addition, we installed a customer-supplied Google Nest Camera, also operating wirelessly and powered by its internal battery. Full setup and testing were completed to confirm stable operation and seamless integration with the home’s existing Wi-Fi network.

To further enhance security and functionality, we supplied and installed a generic 360-degree surface-mount sensor, carefully positioned for maximum coverage and reliability.
