Electrical PowerPoint Repairs, Bathroom GPO Installation & Outdoor Electrical Upgrades
Ampower Electrical recently completed a detailed electrical job for Julia, addressing both urgent safety concerns and planned upgrades throughout the home.
What Was Initially Reported
Julia contacted our team after noticing:
- 1x GPO that had come out of the wall and needed fixing
- 1x GPO required to be installed in the bathroom
What We Actually Completed On Site
After a full inspection, our licensed electrician Kris carried out a comprehensive scope of work to ensure everything was safe, compliant, and neatly finished:
- Replaced the deep mounting block and securely re-affixed the existing power point to the wall
- Supplied and installed 1x double power point in the bathroom, fully compliant with bathroom electrical safety regulations
- Installed surface-mounted ductwork in the bedroom, extending power safely from an existing power point
- Supplied and installed 20x16 Aussie ducting to neatly cover existing exposed power cabling
- Supplied and replaced 3x rear patio spot wall lights with Marine Grade 316 stainless steel double spotlights, ideal for outdoor conditions
- Supplied and installed 1x Marine Grade 316 stainless steel double LED spotlight above the BBQ area, complete with surface-mounted conduit wiring from the external room
- Supplied and installed a double weatherproof GPO at the BBQ area with surface-mounted conduit wiring for durability and safety
These upgrades significantly improved both the functionality and safety of Julia’s home, while also enhancing outdoor lighting and power access for entertaining.
